"My friend and I visited here for the all you can eat special. We were greeted with smiles and seated on a table of our choice near the window. There were only one or two other tables at the time, nowhere near as busy as it should be considering the good value.
There was a reasonable selection of food to choose from including a few curries, dosa's, types of rice, etc….We washed down our meal with a couple of budweisers that were on special too.
Overall, enjoyed the food, friendly service, instrumental Indian music and will be back to try the butter chicken."

"I didn't get a chance to review Mezbaan and I happened to remember since I am daydreaming about good Indian food.
Their dinner buffet is ridiculously well priced, friendly service and the quality of food is excellent….This restaurant is a small place with about 9 or 10 tables. Close to Kingsway and Joyce.
Their naan is so fresh and the waiter brings it to your table right out of the clay oven. I love ripping into the naan as steam escapes and then using it to soak the sauce right in. The naan was not oily and perfectly soft on one side, but crispy on the other.
The owner mentioned to me that they had recently opened the restaurant a year or so ago. I hope this Mezbaan continues to get more reviews and business because I have nothing but good things to say about this place."

"I suppose it's possible that I haven't sampled from enough Indian restaurants but I have tried a fair share and have no problem saying this was the best I've tried so far.
The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes. For anyone who struggles to find something they like at the buffet... well, you better give up on Indian cuisine all together.
It's mentioned in another post but the naan bread was AWESOME!! As fresh as it gets and nothing completes a good Indian meal like good naan bread.
The staff were lovely. I truly felt like my business was appreciated but more than this, that they genuinely cared about my experience. "

The deal was an OK value (on Tuesdays the buffet is only $7.95 per person without the requirement of payment in advance) and the food was OK, not great (tandoori chicken was dry but the naan was good). However, I expected to only be charged the tax on the meals (about 90 cents). Instead I was charged a service charge of $4.80, which I paid, in addition to leaving a tip. That service charge should have been mentioned in the description of the bill. Unfortunately, I didn't think to ask about it when I paid the bill.
