"We rented a queen loft and it was just as we had expected. There was a queen bed upstairs in the loft and a split sofa bed downstairs. If you're unclear when looking at this hotel, a loft just means an open area upstairs. This isn't a one bedroom room with a separate room and living room. The split bed was nice because it was two twin beds which was great to accommodate three people. It was a little tight if we had left the beds open but once you close them and have a sofa, there is a good amount of space for suitcases and to eat..."

"..The rooms are a decent size. We always book the Queen Loft. The kitchen allows us to cook a few meals and keep a reasonable amount of food in the full sized fridge. The staff have been very accommodating to my husband and I on several occasions. A few years ago we had booked a room several weeks in advance to spend 4 days mountain biking in the park. Unfortunately on our second day there, it was clear that it was going to pour rain for the entire duration of our trip. The staff bent the rules and allowed us to check out 2 days early and kind enough to give us a refund for those last 2 days. We visit Whistler a couple times a year and are happy to stay at Whistler Village Inn & Suites. This isn't a 5 start hotel, which is fine with us. The rates are good, rooms are clean and the location couldn't be better."
