Some things need to be kept apart. Star-crossed lovers, Mentos and Diet Coke, polka dots and plaid: mix them at your own peril, people. Sure, the results can be fun to watch from the sidelines, but nobody really wants to clean up that mess (although mixing vinegar and baking soda is pretty good for cleaning). We’d rather mix great taste and huge savings, like with today's SocialShopper deal: $29 for a three-course Moroccan fine fusion dinner for two at Morocco West (value up to $73).

You’d have to be pretty mixed up to miss out on this great deal from Morocco West. They’ve blended the best parts of Morocco’s rich culinary history with the finest Western traditions to make a fine fusion dining experience unlike any other in town. From their award-winning lamb couscous to duck a l’orange to honey lavender pannocotta, they’ve got flavours and recipes that you’ll fall in love with during your three-course dinner. Start with an appetizer for you and your guest to share, like traditional hummus, zaalouk, Chermoula prawns or many other tasty treats to get your mouths watering. Move on to a pair of unbelievable entrees like the lamb, chicken or vegetable couscous or one of the delicious homemade tajines. Then finish up your flavour adventure with a dessert to share from their unique selection of tasty treats.

A good recipe mixes up some stuff you might not think to put together, just like an unexpectedly relevant similie. And at Morocco West they’re mixing up the best Moroccan food in town with a friendly, yet sophisticated, ambiance to make sure your dining experience is as beautiful as a sunset in Casablanca. Plus, your wallet is going to look pretty handsome after all that money you save, too. So make a trip to Morocco West for something delicious today. (just leave the plaid and polka dots at home, okay?)

Very solid 80% urbanspoon rating

"I loved the combination of the Tapas, the Rabbit was awesome and prawns so lovely and tasty"
- Diner from Vancouver (urbanspoon)

"In Vancouver to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were in search of a new restaurant to explore...Morocco West was a delightful find! Cozy and welcoming little spot with outdoor dining. I had the scallops and prawn appetizer followed by the saffron salmon - super yummy! My husband had a vegetarian dish and was equally impressed. The service was excellent..."
- Diner from Vancouver (urbanspoon)

"Being the first stop of the evening, Morocco West set the bar pretty high. The four tasting bites: Hummus, Zaalouk, Chermoula Prawn, and Merguez Sausage Samosa, were all bursting with loads of beautiful Mediterranean flavours. Texture was great on hummus and zaalouk. Chermoula prawn was nice and succulent, with a marinade that was a little oily but very aromatic. Merguez sausage samosa was de-li-cious! Rich herbs and spices had a strong presence but were not overpowering. I would definitely come back here for a Beer-Tapa night with some buddies."

Hi Jeffrey, thank you for your message. If you pick the seafood platter and 2 award-winning lamb couscous as your entrees with a $9 dessert you end up with a $73 value. I hope this helps. Thank you.

How do you get a value of $73. The most expensive four items on your menu come to $66.
