"recommended by friends, not disappointed me at all. a bit surprise too. sashimi is so good, rolls are also excellent. recommend u the oil teriyaki tuna, you will love it!"

"Previous to this week, I've only had take out from Kiku as a friend lives in the area and we'd grab a quick bite before heading out. They have combos and specials and a good assortment of rolls, hot and cold items, and noodles and rice as well. I've always found their food tasty and good value; their combos typically come with a salad, sunomono, and rice. The best value is their dinner combo B. For under thirty dollars, two (or possibly three!) can dine on ebi sunomono (with huge pieces of prawn on top), miso soup, california roll, 4 pcs of sushi, assorted tempura (with 4 pcs prawn + a great assortment of veggie tempura!) , chicken or beef teriyaki, and rice. The portions for this combo are quite large, considering it is a meal for 2. I was impressed by how quickly the food came. We were greeted by all the staff once we entered, and seated promptly in a booth. Waitresses came by twice to check on us and refill our tea. We'll try the "Winter California roll" next time - it's a California roll topped with chopped scallop topping and browned slightly under a broiler. Mmmm."

"been coming here for years. rolls are not ridiculously large like so many other places (they fit in your mouth without horrible embarrassment) and the servers are really nice. even the chefs at the sushi bar usually greet you with a loud hello when you come in the door, which is cool.
good sushi and hot dishes with fresh ingredients (the spicy tofu teriyaki is really good), nice decor and atmosphere too :)"

"Kiku is my very favourite sushi place. I have been eating there regularly for 6 years, even after I moved out of the area. Kiku has excellent flavours, a truely lovely staff, and a great selection of dishes. I have been bringing friends and family there for years now and many of them now eat there regularly as well. As far as I am concerned Kiku is THE hidden gem of Burnaby."

"I have lived in this neighborhood for around 10 years and have made this my regular sushi place for the last 6 or so years. Their food is absolutely delicious, caterpillar roll is awesome! Baked salmon is delicious, and they have recently added new items to the menu which are also very tasty. The food can get a little pricy, especially the premium sushi rolls but they are definitely worth every penny."

Hello Iouri and Shopper, I hope you are well! Please note that this deal offers the 16 pc Tuna Oil Tataki which is regularly $17.95. I believe this is the discrepancy in the calculations. I hope this clarifies some of your concerns. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact us at [email protected] m or call us at 1.800.493.3307. - J

Yes, I actually do love their menu, and I don't mind to come and try it out. So I would love to get $60 of any food on the menu, instead of prefix dinner. Wonder if i would be possible?

I agree with Louri. My math priced everything based on their menu (minus ice cream) and it in the mid $40 range. How is the $59.75 value derived? That's some expensive ice-cream. (not in menu) The last Kiku deal was a good one. Family enjoyed the experience. This deal is weak. C'mon Kiku, you want us back don't you? :)

I see, but somehow, Chicken Yaki Soba and Ice cream not on the menu, but combined pricing for everything except Yaki Soba and Ice cream is $39.25. Which mean that 1 Yaki Soba and 2 Ice cream cost more than $20? Thank you very much

HI, could you specify on the menu? Because company website stated that dinner for 2 is not $59.75, but $39.95. Is it different menu? Thank you
