Dating is hard, no matter how many fish may or may not be in the sea. Just because you’ve caught a fish doesn’t mean you won’t throw it back when you see that fish pull out nail clippers on a public bus. But we’re less concerned with the fish out there swimming around and more concerned with the fish on our plates with today's SocialShopper deal $33 for a nine-course Malaysian dinner with seafood for two people at Spoon Kitchen (value $56). Metaphorical fish are fine and all, but if you want great  Malaysian-inspired seafood dishes, there’s no place better than Spoon Kitchen. You’ll get hooked on the nine-course dinner, complete with roti, chicken satays, calamari and much more. The fish are biting at Spoon Kitchen, or rather you’ll be biting into the best Malaysian cuisine in town when you stop in at their trendy West 4th Street location. It’s a perfect place for a date or a night out with a friend. And it’s such a great deal, you can be choosy about who you bring with you. After all, there’s a lot of fish in the sea.

"they left a bunch of flyers in the lobby of my apartment building so I thought I'd give them a shot. We ordered their "meal for 2" seemed like a nice variety for the price. It was fab, there wasn't one dish that we weren't happy with. The delivery was fast! We had more than enough food for the 2 of us, even had some leftover for lunch the next day! I've never seen the restaurant so I can't comment on the service or ambiance but I highly recommend for takeout!
Happy to have them in my hood:)"

"We had a couple of items from their lunch specials - Nasi Goreng and Beef Rendang. They were both prepared extremely well; the beef was just tender enough and full of flavour; the rice dish seemed quite authentic to me and had a lot of interesting flavour notes. Much better that the typical Asian restaurant in Vancouver and I hope they do well. Someone in the kitchen there is highly skilled"

"Droped by UPS the other day to do some mail and spoted this new malaysian/thai restaurant underneeth. Went in and gave it a try, man i gotta say you guys have awesome foods!! I loved it, i ordered roti nann bread, dry curry crab (its a whole crab for $15!! Killer deal!) and pad thai , one which i have never seen before tasted different from any other place i've been to. All the dish tasted fabulas and i will be back hungry for more."

"I haven't even set foot in the restaurant, and I don't have to. We've ordered delivery from here twice and the food was amazing!
Tons of food for the price! We ordered the dinner for four as we were expecting guests tonight, then when they bailed on us shortly after, we called to change to dinner for two, they were very accommodating; and even more so when we thought about their deliciousness and decided to call them back to get the foursome after all! Yes, pre-Christmas gluttony at its finest.
They were super fast in delivering our order and we were super fast in gobbling it up! They weren't cheap in putting together their dishes either, for example the prawns were huge and the fish contained only delicious fish (not like other places that add fillers like peppers or some other cheap vegetable - hate that).
Overall, great food, decently priced, and quick service. We will be ordering from here again and again."

"Me and my boyfriend was walking in the neighbourhood and looking for some food the other day and saw this newly opened restaurant so we've decided to give it a try. Once I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly waitress who was also really helpful in explaining the different dishes. The food was beyond our expectations. We've travelled to Thailand a year ago and this is one of the most authentic Thai food that we've tasted in Vancouver. I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family."
