Amazing 5-star review rating on yelp!

"Attended a soap making class today and was a wonderful experience! Instruction was thorough and time for hands on experience was provided. In 3 hours we made two soaps (herbs/spices/essential oils provided) and then did did group bath bomb creations, which we then took home a selection of 6 each! I have taken a few different classes through various voucher offers and I would definitely say this was the best and would be worth paying full price for! Now if only I didn't have to wait 48 hrs to start slicing up my soap creations!!!"

"I found out about this studio on the make it! site and signed up for one of Beata's classes. I will be signing up for my third class in September and can't wait! Beata is a wonderful and passionate teacher, the classes are definitely hands on and she has many examples to get you inspired. The art studio is very nicely setup and you always run into one of the resident artists, which is very nice.
I highly recommend this place and Beata's classes. You can also find really cool gifts there. We need more places like this one in Vancouver!"

"Soigne is a wonderful workshop/art studio located in the Octopus Studios Art Space in the downtown eastside! I discovered Beata's lovely studio a few years ago at the East Side Culture Crawl and have taken two workshops from her since. She has so many talents and is a wonderful teacher! She's passionate about everything she teaches and is incredibly patient. I always visit her during the Crawl and have had many complements from the pieces I purchase from her (unique jewelry using millefluri polymer clay, soldered pendants, wood, leather, pencil crayons and my pieces I've learned to make from her classes). Beata offers small classes for groups of students (by appointment) and opens her doors to the public for the East Side Culture Crawl and at Portobello West in December (check her website for details). If you're looking for something unique to do with your friends check out her small personalized classes! She's awesome, and I'd recommend her classes to all my friends!"

Hi @Donna, thanks for your message! At the moment the vendor is only offering the soap & bath fizzes making class for SocialShoppers. However they do have other classes on their website that you can register for directly and I believe they have a soap-only class. You can check it out here: http://soigne.c a/blog/about/soap/

Do you have a class that is just soap making? Don't have even one friend who takes baths, so bath fizzes aren't useful for me. I'd love to do the soap making class though

It's sort of like Fight Club where Tyler Durden makes his own soap.. but not like that at all. No traumatising scar ritual or anything of the like. Instead, you'll have a pleasant time (3-hours worth) making soaps and bath fizzes. Plus, you'll get to take home some goodies! Everyone likes goodies. Please let me know if you have any questions!
