Sometimes frozen is best, like when you want to play ice hockey or get a tooth pulled. Today’s deal proves that frozen can be pretty tasty too: $6 for $10 worth of frozen treats at On Yogurt. Indulge in their innovative “ice fried” yogurt that isn’t fried at all, just flash frozen. This much healthier process lets you enjoy the contrast between a crispy exterior and creamy interior without all the artery clogging side effects. It’s a delicious taste sensation made even better by the fact that every ingredient is organic and locally sourced. Throw some berries, nuts or other toppings on your frozen snack and fall into a deep state of gratitude for other people’s creativity. This cozy joint also offers an array of drinks, snacks and sandwiches that can be enjoyed over a board game. Frozen is pretty cool (get it?!) so grab this deal and join the party.

“It was a sunny day and I wanted a cold treat. So I thought of the newly opened On Yogurt. The place was so cute and spacious, a great little hang out place with your friends for sure. I ordered myself the Rose & Ferrero Rocher Ice Fried Yogurt Gelato (special flavor in February). Fried Yogurt was made by flash freezing and solidifying the yogurt and turning it into like ice cream. I really liked the Rose flavor, it was light and not overpowering. The Ferrero Rocher chocolate crunch also added great texture and sweetness to the yogurt too. My husband got the Green Forest (Red Bean, Matcha, Condensed Milk) Ice Fried Yogurt. We didn't enjoy this as much as the Rose & Ferrero Rocher one, cuz we couldn't taste much of the matcha flavor. The texture was more dense than the fried yogurt gelato too.”

“I saw this reviewed on the front page of Yelp on January 4, 2016 and decided to book mark it for future reference. Very close to BC Place, therefore, I hit this up before a show. Decent amount of seating inside, clean and simple looking interior. Most of the items are on the menu. I will admit that it took me a while to decide what it was that I actually wanted since I was extremely overwhelmed by the options. The place has nice simple wooden interior. A medium size place with enough seating, not a lot but enough. It's a quick snack or a grab and go situation with a walk along the water. It's pretty much DIY, Pick a base that averages in cost from $3 - $4. You can get basic and some specialty flavors. Chose each topping for a $1 each average. This is a flash frozen place which is really cool. I've only seen this once in LA which is very popular, therefore, cool to see it here in Vancouver. I am hoping that this a trend that will pick up. Very friendly staff. Service was extremely slow weather you get it fried or smooth. Expect to wait 15 - 20 minutes. Mango yogurt drink was more on the tart than sweet side.”

“The cold fried process is really neat. It's really fun to watch the whole process. Tried their new flavor of February: Valentine's Day...Rose plus Ferrero Rocher. The taste of it is really interesting...rich and creamy. Gotta love the smell of rose. Overall highly recommended.”
