Great 4.7-star reviews on facebook!

"This festival is one of the biggest in North America. It attracts 90,000 people and in excess of 180 dragon boat teams who congregate around Science World and False Creek to watch the competition. Dragon boaters are a funny bunch. There are costumes, team cheers, lots of dirty jokes about "getting wet" and "paddling hard" and doing it "long, deep and strong." The beer garden of the event is always a total laugh. You might attacked by a "Shaggin' Dragon" team member wielding an ink stamp that reads "SHAG ME." (I had to do an afternoon walk of shame home with one of those last time out). But besides the debauchery, it is a great community and multicultural event where Vancouverites and visitors can enjoy the spectacle of the races"
- Sheila W. (yelp)

"Grab a Jamaican patty and an ice cold Granville Island Hefweisen and watch the teams sweat it out, fly to victory or crash into neighbouring boats... It was great to see so many people of different ages and walks of life paddling for their school, their charity or for glory."
- Alex D. (yelp)

"I am having a great time racing with my team Eye of the Dragon! Also fun to share tents with local BC Hydro team and Gila dragons from Arizona."
- Liz C. (facebook)

"A great experience! I plan to do it again next year!"
