The Experience

Water is great for cooling off and quenching your thirst, but it can all quench your thirst for cool adventures if you know where to look. We’re talking about whitewater rafting, which is just about the most fun you can have in a raft. It’s also one of the best ways to see the majesty of nature, up close and personal, and maybe also a little bit soaking wet from your watery exploits. And if you want to experience the best in whitewater rafting, start paddling for Whistler Village and Green River, where beautiful scenery and bouncy waterways come together. Bring your friends along, and bring a towel, because adventuring is not a spectator sport.

  • Two-hour guided tours showcase the best of Green River
  • Great for first-time rafters or family adventures
  • Ride down the class 2 and class 3 rapids
  • Unforgettable team-building experience
  • Enjoy complimentary shuttle service from Whistler Village to the river

"With all the rafting companies in whistler it's hard to choose one from the next, though I thought the TAG whistler group seemed to have a great set up so went with them. Turned out to be a good choice!! Our guides where hazard, pete, jules and nick (driving) and I found not only knowledgeable on the water but great fun off it, which helped to make it a fun relaxed day out!! The river itself has some challenging grade 3 & 4 rapids but this is still good for any first timers. Prices where kinda high, but I feel that at the same time it was fair for what u got (transport, breakfast/lunch on river/BBQ, rafting). Recommend."

"We had a lot of fun on this trip. The meet up place is right across from the gondola and once our entire group checked in (probably 50-60 people) we were ushered downstairs to get geared up. Everything from here on was well explained and fairly streamlined, staff were super helpful and as soon as we were in our wetsuits we trekked to the road to board our buses. The guides were hilarious and really seemed to have a good time chatting us up on the bus and having us get to know each other. We did the Green River run which was only 10-15 mins or so from the village. We got off the bus at Green Lake and were grouped up and put on rafts. Our guide was fantastic, safety was obviously a priority but he was a ton of fun as well. The river itself was great. So much fun! Some people have said that they wished it was longer, or more intense, but as a first timer I had a blast. Our guide was good at getting us ramped up for rapids and seemed to have fun getting us splashed or going over rocks to jar us. We'll be back to do the more intense run next time. As fun as this one was, I want more!"

"We booked a 1:00 Green River tour on Saturday. From start to finish the guys running the place were a riot. They provide everything you will need and the process was very stream-lined. The rapids for the Green River rafting were class 3, so if you've been before you might want to do the class 4 rapids. Though it was a lot of fun, I wished it had been a little more dangerous. : )"
